Jin “JDub” Watanabe has qualified for the Junior Olympic National Championships by virtue of his 8th place finish in the 400 at the Region 1 Meet in Bowdoin, Maine. His time of 54.78, a mere four hundredths away from a Personal Record, was good enough to earn him a trip to Sacramento, California for the Boys 17-18 400 competition on July 29th. JDub is the first MNTC athlete to qualify for the elite Junior Olympic National meet. Congratulations, Jin!!
